Underway Published information about Commons on the Park indicates that it will be a luxurious group of one and two bedroom Condominium Units. Commons on the Park is located in Mid-Reston very close to Lake Fairfax Park. An on-site sales office is operational and ready to do business. A look at the site/building layout indicates that there are about 260 existing units are being converted to condominium ownership over the next two years. I visited the site in mid-October and again in December was very impressed. The initial building has been refinished on the exterior and entirely updated within. The developer is proceeding in an orderly fashion and has set up an excellent sales operation. The on-site staff is ready to tell you about this new condo neighborhood and has real information about availability and prices. Additionally, they have actual models that you can walk to and see for yourself how these floor plans look firsthand. The developer has just begun offering these
condos for sale ... They are offering units on a month-by-month basis as
they convert from rental to condo units. The conversion of these units,
which were originally constructed in 1970's, appears to include virtually new
interiors equipped with upscale kitchens and baths as well as new windows and
floor coverings. Units are being offered in the mid to upper $200s based on
size and options. The developer is accepting
contracts from proposed owner occupants with relatively small deposits and has
made arrangements for financing to qualified buyers. Link to Developer Website ... Commons on the Park Condos (click through Neighborhoods to Virginia ... then select Commons on the Park) 'Click' for Currently
